From Nature to Life
Biotechnology sowing life
Who we are
We seek the best of biology for our life
We are one deep tech which developed a technological platform focused on the production of biopolymers from waste from intensive aquaculture and agribusiness production, generating products aligned with nanoparticles and the ESG ecosystem.
Our core science is based on the use of bacteria and yeasts applied in the production of biopolymers and probiotics inoculated in the field and in agriculture.
How we do
PROSPECT OF BACTERIA AND YEAST
Our core science is based on the use ofgood bacteriaas our allies in the field, health and biopolymer industry. With the advent of the economic subsidy won recently, we seek to prospect some strains of bacteria/yeasts that are candidates for inoculants for nitrogen fixation and for the synthesis and purification of biopolymers such as PHA.
BIOPOLYMER PRODUCTION
In partnership with Georgia Southern University (GSU) we are validating a biopolymer - Polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA), part of the group of polymeric nanoparticles (NPP) for the delivery of active compounds. Our NPPs, biodegradable and biocompatible, will serve as encapsulation, via drug delivery, in aiding diagnosis and treatment of diseases such as cancer.
BRASYS- Biofloc, RAS and Aquaponic System
In a simple way, we align aquaculture production waste (BRÁSYS) as raw material for the synthesis of an applied biopolymer with ESG certification. Our system allows obtaining PHA from aquaculture waste. The bioreactors that we use in aquaculture cultures already carry out satisfactorily the assimilation of organic matter and the enrichment of PHA.

Our products
Our MVP (Minimum Viable Product) allowed us to validate our technological process for producing PHB - Poly(hydroxybutyrate). It is the main representative of the Poly(hydroxyalkanoates) (PHA) family.
As a promising biopolymer to replace conventional plastics, PHB has diverse applications such aspackaging (bottles, lids, films and labels) for food, structural parts, disposable items, bags and bags, personal hygiene items, reforestation tubes (seedling tubes), agricultural films, films for covering cards, among others.
Healthcare is a huge field of application for PHB, that is, its direct use in humans and animals, due to its high biocompatibility index with living tissues. As it is non-toxic, it can also be used in applications intended for interaction with the human organism, for example.
This material can be applied to suture threads, gelatin capsules for medicines, surgical pins, bone grafts, surgical brushes, drains, surgical fabrics, heart valves and as lubricating powder for surgical gloves.
